China’s Neolix partners with Sunway for Malaysia expansion

Neolix, a Beijing-based maker of autonomous delivery vehicles, said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Malaysian conglomerate Sunway Group at Transport Expo Asia 2026 to distribute its vehicles in Malaysia.

The vehicles are for last-mile delivery and for moving goods and medical supplies between facilities.

They could be deployed across Sunway’s townships and businesses, including its healthcare and retail operations.

Neolix said it has conducted sandbox testing in Malaysia for the past three months.

Its safety assessment is nearing completion, and the program is set to enter the Vehicle Type Approval stage.

Malaysia has autonomous vehicle guidelines and a MyAV regulatory framework.

Neolix said it has raised over US$600 million in series D funding and was approved for autonomous delivery vehicle trials in Malaysia.
