China’s Deep Robotics eyes IPO by 2026
Deep Robotics, a Hangzhou-based developer of quadruped and humanoid robots, has started the IPO “guidance” phase for a potential listing on China’s A-share market, according to the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
The company is the second in China’s embodied intelligence sector, after Unitree Robotics, to begin this process.
Preparatory work for the IPO is expected to finish by June 2026.
Deep Robotics is also the third of Hangzhou’s “six little dragons,” a group of notable local tech firms, to pursue a listing, following Manycore Tech and Unitree Robotics.
Earlier this month, Deep Robotics raised over 500 million yuan (US$69 million) in a funding round with participation from investment funds linked to China Telecom and China Unicom.

Implications, context, and why it matters.
Deep Robotics’ IPO guidance targets June 2026 amid China’s service-robot expansion
- Deep Robotics plans to finish its A-share IPO guidance by June 2026. That timeline does not reveal revenue or profit, and it has not shared numbers.
- Global commercial service robot shipments passed 100,000 in 2024, with Chinese vendors at 84.7% share 1. Deep Robotics has not shared units, customers, or revenue, so traction is hard to judge.
- Deep Robotics raised over 500 million yuan from funds linked to China Telecom and China Unicom. SUPCON (also known as Zhongkong Technology, a Chinese industrial-automation vendor) ranked first in a Shaanxi Coal Hongliulin bid and Shenzhen Water Group (a municipal water utility) posted single-unit quadruped buys 23.
Systems integrators can win quadruped tenders in energy and utilities
- A Shaanxi Coal Hongliulin coal-preparation plant named bid candidates for quadruped inspection robots, and Shenzhen Water Group set a 458,600 yuan cap for one unit 23. This offers work for robotics systems integrators (firms that combine hardware and software into deployable solutions).
- China Southern Grid is the state-owned regional power transmission operator and it ran a 2022 tender that listed quadruped robots with GPU cards, storage plus web intrusion detection 4. Vendors can bundle AI analytics with cybersecurity on the hardware.
- Commercial cleaning robots made about $560 million globally in 2024 and delivery robots topped $300 million 1. Chinese makers such as Gaussian Robotics (a Shanghai-based cleaning-robot maker) expand overseas. Systems integrators should build skills in these lines before betting on newer quadruped inspection.
