China’s Changan to launch flying cars by 2026

China’s Changan Automobile has set a target date of 2026 to launch its flying car products.

This comes as the company announced Wednesday its plans to sign a contract on Saturday to promote research in flying car technology.

It aims to develop low-altitude aircraft alongside flying cars and plans to unveil details about it this year on December 27.

The automaker has pledged over 50 billion yuan (US$6.86 billion) in funding for research and development in the next five years, focusing on integrated solutions for land, sea, and air transportation.
