China’s Amiao Robotics secures $14m from Anker
Anker Innovations has led a funding round for robotics startup Amiao, raising approximately 100 million yuan (around US$14 million). Other investors in this round included Zhipu Z Fund and K2 VC.
Amio Robotics was founded by Liu Fang, who previously worked at Google China and has experience in search technologies. He has also led projects in autonomous driving and production technology at Xiaomi.
The funding will help Amiao Robotics develop intelligent solutions for industrial and commercial applications.
Anker Innovations, as the lead investor, is expected to work with Amiao on robotics tools aimed at improving automation. Amiao plans to utilize Anker’s industry connections to establish partnerships with commercial operators.
The goal is to expand the use of robotics in B2B applications and support advancements in smart manufacturing globally.
