China unveils first AI video models

Kunlun Tech, a leading Chinese AI company, unveiled China’s first AI short film creation video generation model, SkyReels-V1 on Feb. 18.

They also introduced China’s first SOTA-level  emotion-action controllable algorithm based on a video pedestal model, SkyReels-A1.

SkyReels-V1, an open-source model, is designed for creating short films with cinematic-quality character expressions and motion replication.

It supports 33 facial expressions and over 400 action combinations, generating videos with text and images at 544p resolution.

SkyReels-A1 aims to improve emotion control in video animations by capturing detailed facial and body movements for more realistic character animations.

Both models aim to advance video generation techniques and improve emotional accuracy in AI animations.
