Chinese self-driving technology firms are increasing their presence in Europe as they face restrictions in the US market.

Companies such as QCraft are setting up headquarters, while Deeproute.ai and Momenta are seeking data partnerships and road-testing autonomous systems in Germany and other European countries.

QCraft, a Beijing-based provider of driver-assistance systems, plans to sell its technology in Europe within two years.

Deeproute.ai plans to build a European data center if it secures business deals now under discussion, while Momenta, which supplies autonomous tech to automakers like Toyota and General Motors, will begin Level-4 system testing with Uber in Germany next year.

Other Chinese companies, including WeRide, Baidu, and Pony.ai, are also expanding in Europe.
