Four Taiwanese Foxconn employees have been detained in China since January, according to Taiwan’s Central News Agency.

The individuals were apprehended by the local public security bureau in Zhengzhou, China’s Henan province, home to Foxconn’s largest iPhone manufacturing facility.

Authorities cited “breach of trust” as the basis for their detention.

Foxconn said its employees adhered to their obligations concerning company interests.
