China makes new AI push with over 1,000 models

China now hosts 1,509 AI models, accounting for over 40% of the global total, according to data from the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) held in Shanghai.

Meanwhile, the global count of AI models stands at 3,755.

At the conference, Tencent Holdings and SenseTime introduced new AI technologies.

Tencent unveiled its Hunyuan 3D World Model 1.0, which can generate detailed three-dimensional environments.

At the same time, SenseTime showcased improvements in reinforcement learning efficiency with its SenseNova V6.5.
