Central Asia fintech firm Iman seeks $100m for Gulf expansion

Central Asia-based fintech Iman Holdings, which offers a mobile-first Shariah-compliant banking platform, said on June 23 it plans to raise US$100 million.

The funds will speed up development of its AI-powered platform and support expansion into Gulf Cooperation Council markets.

Founded in 2020, Iman said its financial ecosystem had more than 1 million registered users and managed over US$100 million in assets.

The company did not name target investors or give a timeline for the fundraising.
