Catcha Digital to expand M&A, may surpass 2024 figure

Digital media and advertising group Catcha Digital Bhd is expanding its mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy, with plans to surpass the 80 million ringgit (around US$17.9 million) figure earmarked for acquisitions back in September 2024.

The company’s focus is on platform and add-on acquisitions to improve its digital media and advertising operations.

CEO Eric Tan Leong Yit highlighted the company’s commitment to strengthening its online-to-offline (O2O) digital media solutions.

Recent initiatives include integrating its digital out-of-home (DOOH) ecosystem with advertisers while exploring in-person marketing opportunities.

In December 2024, Catcha Digital reported completed acquisitions totaling 35.18 million ringgit (around US$7.9 million).

These transactions included a 60% stake in automotive digital media firm Drive 2 Digital Sdn Bhd, as well as a 51% stake in AI-powered sales automation company Nexible Solutions Sdn Bhd.
