Carmen Yuen has announced her departure from Vertex Ventures after 11 years with the venture capital firm.

During her tenure, Yuen managed investor relations, fundraising, and participated on the investment committee, contributing to the firm’s investment strategies.

In her farewell statement, Yuen praised the resilience of the founders she worked with, acknowledging their efforts in navigating challenges like downsizing, balancing professional, and personal commitments.

She expressed gratitude toward portfolio companies, including AbacusDigital, Patsnap, Propseller, SDIX, Speedoc, Storehub, Sunday Insurance, The Parent Inc., and Turnkey Lender.
