CarDekho Group invests $10m in edtech firm CollegeDekho
CarDekho Group has invested US$10 million in CollegeDekho, an edtech firm based in Gurugram, India.
This follow-on investment gives CarDekho about a 40% stake in CollegeDekho, which operates an online platform for college discovery, course selection, test preparation, and admissions support, partnering with over 2,000 universities and colleges in India and overseas.
CollegeDekho plans to use the funding to expand in tier-II and tier-III cities and enhance services for students and educational institutions.
The investment comes after CarTrade Tech ended talks with Girnar Software, the parent company of CarDekho and BikeDekho, about a possible acquisition.
CarDekho Group, founded in 2008, is backed by investors such as Peak XV Partners, Hillhouse Capital, and CapitalG.
