Cambodia’s Canadia Impact Fund Co., Canadia Group’s venture capital arm, said on September 16 that it invested an undisclosed amount in Newwave Tech Foundry’s seed round.

The deal was announced at the third Digital Trade Forum in Phnom Penh.

Founded in 2024, Newwave is a Cambodia-based technology company that provides AI transformation and software development services to medium and large organizations.

It is also developing RE:AI, a platform for small and medium businesses that will initially focus on sales, marketing, accounting, supply chain, and human resources.

The deal is the fund’s second disclosed startup investment. Its first disclosed investment was in Jalat Logistics.

The investment comes as Cambodia advances its National Strategy on Startup Development 2026-2030, which it launched in August 2026.
