TikTok’s parent company ByteDance has agreed to invest in and collaborate with GoTo Group’s Tokopedia to develop an online shopping service, sources told Bloomberg.

Indonesia was TikTok Shop’s biggest market before its exit from the country. While details are still under negotiation and regulatory approval is required, this partnership could pave the way for TikTok’s regional expansion.
