BYD unveils first vehicle with Huawei's driver assist system

BYD has released its first vehicle featuring Huawei’s advanced driver assistance system.

The Bao 8 SUV, priced between 379,800 yuan and 407,800 yuan (US$52,602-US$56,480), can perform most driving tasks autonomously.

This plug-in hybrid electric vehicle can travel 100 kilometers on electric power alone.

With a full charge and tank, it reaches up to 1,200 kilometers.
