Inchcape Plus, a Singapore-based dealer of BYD electric commercial trucks, said on August 4, that it launched the BYD T35 electric light truck in Singapore, marking the model’s Southeast Asian debut.

The company said the truck can be driven with a Class 3 driving license and stands under 1.98 meters tall for access to Housing and Development Board multi-storey carparks.

It also falls within a gross vehicle weight class set to qualify for Singapore government incentives from January 2026.

BYD’s published specifications for the T35 list a range of 367 km, a payload of 1,900 kg, and direct current charging from 20% to 80% in 36 minutes.

The launch comes as Singapore moves towards 100% cleaner-energy vehicles by 2040.
