BYD, Black Myth: Wukong creator to digitize heritage

BYD has partnered with Game Science, creator of the game “Black Myth: Wukong,” to preserve cultural heritage digitally, starting in Shanxi, China, where the game is set.

The companies plan to collaborate with local museums to document cultural relics using scanning technologies.

Further plans regarding their preservation efforts are expected soon.

Game Science recently ranked 12th in Steam’s top publisher listings.

It earned US$1 billion from “Black Myth: Wukong,” according to Gamalytic, a Steam statistics platform.
