Bybit, Circle partner to expand global USDC stablecoin access
Bybit has announced a partnership with Circle, the US-based fintech firm behind the USDC stablecoin, to boost USDC access and liquidity on its trading platform.
Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Dubai, said it will improve USDC liquidity on its spot and derivatives markets as part of the collaboration.
The companies will also work together on campaigns and initiatives to promote USDC use on Bybit’s products.
The partnership includes integrating fiat on- and off-ramp solutions, aiming to make deposits and withdrawals between local currencies and digital assets more efficient for Bybit users.
Bybit plans to extend USDC integration across its ecosystem, including savings, card rewards, and payment products.
Bybit joined the public testnet of Circle’s Arc network, a new blockchain launched in October 2025.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
- The announcement left out fee breaks or market-maker programs (liquidity providers rewarded to post bids and asks) that could move traders to USDC-margined perpetuals (futures with no expiry) over USDT derivatives. Bybit already offers 0% maker fees at Pro 3 levels (a top tier for high-volume accounts) 3.
- Bybit is expanding in the United Arab Emirates, the European Economic Area (EEA), and Turkey, raising demand for localized fiat on and off ramps (bank-to-crypto deposits and withdrawals). SEPA euro access restricts many territories 4, and SWIFT USD works only with non-US banks 5. Regional processors can fill gaps, with lira via bank transfer for users in Turkey 6. Polish złoty is supported by Zen.com (a European fintech payments platform) and BLIK, Poland’s instant payment system 5, while Romanian leu runs through the platform 5.
- Withdrawal limits vary by verification level, with VIP 0 at $5,000 per day and PRO 3 at $5 million 7. Payment firms targeting high net worth users in underserved EEA countries can offer premium banking rails for this tiered base.
