Bumble Inc. has appointed Ronald Fior as interim CFO, starting Mar. 15. Fior, a partner at FLG Partners, has been consulting for Bumble and will replace Anu Subramanian, who is set to leave next month.

He brings over 30 years of CFO experience, including roles at Absolute Software, Trove Recommerce, Quotient Technology, and Callidus Software.

This leadership change comes as Bumble faces challenges with revenue growth and a decline in paying users.

The company recently projected a temporary drop of 100,000 to 120,000 paying users as it rolls out new app features.

Fior’s appointment follows executive shifts at Bumble, including founder Whitney Wolfe Herd’s anticipated return as CEO and the departure of the marketing head in January.

Bumble, which went public on Nasdaq in 2021, is exploring strategies to boost growth.
