Bumble Inc. has announced that its founder, Whitney Wolfe Herd, will return as CEO in mid-March 2025.

Wolfe Herd, who is currently the executive chair, will succeed Lidiane Jones, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

The company confirmed that Ann Mather, currently Bumble’s lead director, will assume the role of chair of the board of directors alongside Wolfe Herd’s appointment.
