Bumble Inc. has launched ID verification as an optional feature on its dating app in 11 markets, including the US, UK, Australia, France, and India.

The feature enables users to filter for ID-verified profiles and request matches to undergo verification.

The company has also introduced a feature that allows users to share details about their dates with trusted contacts.

Additionally, it is expanding a tool that detects and flags inappropriate messages in all chat conversations.

These updates come as Bumble seeks to address declining revenue from its flagship app, which has faced challenges since the third quarter of 2024.
