Bukalapak reshuffles leadership after first annual profit
Bukalapak appointed Natalia Firmansyah as acting CEO, replacing Willix Halim.
The move followed shareholders approval of board and management changes at its annual general meeting on June 11.
She has served as Bukalapak’s CFO since 2018.
Shareholders also appointed Drs. H. Sutarman, M.H. as independent commissioner and president commissioner. Bukalapak said the move would strengthen governance and cybersecurity oversight.
The reshuffle came after Bukalapak discontinued sales of physical goods.
The company also posted 3.1 trillion rupiah (US$176 million) in net profit for 2025, its first annual profit after years of losses.
The focus on cybersecurity also comes amid a broader regulatory push. Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued guidelines in 2024 for financial-sector technology innovation providers, covering data protection, risk management, incident response, and training.
