French AI human resources software company Skello is set to raise 200 million euros (US$229 million) in a funding round in which Bridgepoint is expected to provide most of the funding and become the startup’s lead minority shareholder, according to a source close to the matter.

The source said Bridgepoint will invest through Bridgepoint Development Capital V, the same lower-middle-market fund it used to reinvest in French software company Brevo in November 2025.

Skello’s founders, management team, and some existing investors are also set to reinvest, with the management team increasing its stake.

The company describes itself as an AI human resources platform for frontline teams focused on scheduling, payroll, and workforce management.

Skello said in 2021 that its software was used across 7,000 points of sale.

According to the source, Skello plans to use the proceeds to strengthen its position in France, expand across Europe, and hire more employees in the second half of 2026, including for AI-related roles.
