Bolt enters Malaysian market with e-hailing license

Bolt, the ride-hailing service, is set to begin operations in Malaysia.

A notification on the app hints at the imminent launch, marking an expansion into its 46th country.

The company’s entry was confirmed with a license received from Malaysia’s land public transport agency.

Since August, Bolt has been inviting drivers in Malaysia to join its platform.

Separately, Bolt told Tech in Asia that they have launched their services in Klang Valley, near Kuala Lumpur.
