Mumbai-based Sagar Defence Engineering has partnered with Boeing subsidiary Liquid Robotics to co-develop autonomous surface vessels in India.

These vessels will support naval operations such as data collection, surveillance, and tactical missions.

The collaboration will focus on manufacturing, system interoperability, ocean testing, and maintenance for Liquid Robotics’ Wave Glider platform.

This partnership aims to enhance undersea domain awareness and establish maintenance infrastructure in the Indo-Pacific.
