RTP Global leads $7m series A in Indian used bike marketplace
Vutto, a New Delhi-based platform for buying and selling used two-wheelers, has raised US$7 million in a series A round led by RTP Global, with participation from Blume Ventures.
Founded in 2024, Vutto operates a digital and offline marketplace for refurbished two-wheelers and has sold 1,500 vehicles to date.
The company will use the funding to expand operations in the National Capital Region and into new territories.
Vutto currently runs three showrooms in Delhi and employs over 50 staff.
In addition to sourcing vehicles from individuals, Vutto works with banks and financial institutions to resell repossessed two-wheelers.
The platform also aims to streamline paperwork and provide warranties.
The startup previously raised US$1 million in seed funding from Blume Ventures and angel investors.

🧠 Food for thought
1️⃣ India’s used two-wheeler market represents massive untapped potential at scale
India’s position as the world’s largest two-wheeler market creates an enormous opportunity for organized players in the used vehicle segment.
The country purchases approximately 1 crore used two-wheelers annually compared to 1.5-2 crore new ones, indicating that used vehicles represent roughly 40% of total two-wheeler transactions1.
With nearly 55% of India’s 30 crore households owning two-wheelers, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities where families depend on them for daily commutes, the addressable market for quality refurbished vehicles is substantial1.
This scale advantage is noteworthy, as Vutto’s founders highlight that “two-wheeler re-commerce is only doable in India for the sheer size of the market”1.
The fragmented nature of this massive market, where sellers seek better prices and buyers want reliable vehicles, creates space for organized platforms to capture significant value through standardization and trust-building.
2️⃣ Fast inventory turnover drives profitability in capital-intensive refurbishment businesses
