Bluesky, a decentralized social media platform, has launched a custom feed for vertical videos.

This new feature adds a trending video section to the explore tab in its mobile app.

Users can now swipe through videos in a format similar to TikTok and can pin the feed to their home screen.

The launch occurs amid increased competition among social media platforms due to uncertainty surrounding TikTok’s future in the United States.

Bluesky also mentioned developers creating TikTok-like alternatives on its AT Protocol.

These include Tik.Blue, Skylight.Social, and Bluescreen.Blue, which are currently in early testing stages.
