Blockchain.com seeks $500m in 2026 IPO: sources
Blockchain.com, a London-based crypto exchange, wallet provider, and digital asset infrastructure platform, is telling prospective investors it wants to go public in 2026 and raise about US$500 million in an initial public offering, according to people familiar with the matter.
The company is targeting a valuation of US$4 billion to US$6 billion. It also confidentially filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission earlier in 2026, though the terms could still change.
That range would be below Blockchain.com’s 2022 private-market peak of US$14 billion. The company raised US$110 million in 2023 at a valuation of less than half that level.
A confidential Securities and Exchange Commission submission does not by itself set an initial public offering date.
Securities and Exchange Commission guidance says an emerging growth company using the process must publicly file at least 21 days before a roadshow.
Blockchain.com publicly discloses its regulatory authorizations on a licenses page.
Renewed crypto listing activity has also included eToro, which priced its US initial public offering at US$52 a share in May 2025.
