US blockchain data startup nets $40m series B
Allium, a blockchain data startup based in the United States, said on June 23 that it raised US$40 million in a series B led by Amplify Partners.
Kleiner Perkins, Theory Ventures, and Pruven Capital also participated in the round.
Founded in 2021, Allium sells indexed blockchain datasets, application programming interfaces, and tools that send data to customer systems, including Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks.
Customers use the products for payments, compliance, research, and product development.
Allium said it now manages more than 30 petabytes of blockchain data, serves more than 150 enterprise customers, and has grown revenue 10x since its previous round. One petabyte equals to 1,000 terabytes.
That earlier financing was a US$16.5 million series A announced in July 2024 and led by Theory Ventures, with participation from Kleiner Perkins and Amplify Partners.
The company has also worked with Visa on a stablecoin dashboard that separates volume into organic and inorganic activity, reflecting broader institutional use of onchain data.
