Blinkit tops 50% of India’s quick commerce market: report

Blinkit has captured over 50% of India’s quick commerce market, according to a research note from BofA Securities.

The Gurugram-based 10-minute delivery platform, owned by Eternal, saw its market share rise from 40% last year.

Competitors include Zepto, Swiggy’s Instamart, BigBasket, Flipkart Minutes, and Amazon Now.

BofA said competition has dropped in recent months as Zepto and Instamart shift focus toward improving profitability.

The brokerage expects Blinkit to keep gaining share, citing steady user demand and limited new competition.

A separate Motilal Oswal report from November 2024 had estimated Blinkit at 46%, Zepto at 29%, and Instamart at 24%.
