Blackstone-backed Liftoff raises $437m in US IPO
Blackstone-backed Liftoff Mobile, an app marketing and monetization software company based in Redwood City, California, raised US$437 million in its US initial public offering on Wednesday.
It sold 19 million shares at US$23 each, above its US$20 to US$22 target range.
The offering valued the company at about US$3.83 billion, based on the outstanding share count in its prospectus.
Liftoff is expected to start trading on the Nasdaq on Thursday under the ticker LFTO. Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, and Morgan Stanley are the joint lead underwriters.
Liftoff sells AI software that helps mobile app developers and advertisers acquire users, increase engagement, and generate revenue.
By the end of 2025, more than 1,000 marketers used its platform, and more than 140,000 apps had integrated its software development kit.
The company was formed when Blackstone combined Liftoff and Vungle in 2021.
Blackstone remained the majority shareholder after agreeing in May 2025 to sell a minority stake to General Atlantic at a US$4.3 billion valuation.
The IPO comes as US listings pick up and the broader IPO market remains resilient in early 2026, with investors favoring larger issuers, according to EY.
