Bitget offers forex, gold markets to crypto traders via TradFi
Bitget has launched a private beta for Bitget TradFi, offering selected users access to forex, gold, commodities, indices, and stock CFDs using USDT as margin.
Bitget is a crypto exchange founded in 2018.
The new feature allows users to trade contracts for difference (CFDs) on global forex, metals, commodities, indices, and stocks from the same platform used for crypto trading.
All trades are margined and settled in USDT, removing the need for separate broker accounts or currency conversions.
Bitget said the platform operates under the regulation of the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, and supports leverage up to 500x.
The company also reported that its tokenized US stock futures reached over US$10 billion in cumulative trading volume earlier this year.
This move aims to expand Bitget’s offerings beyond digital assets to include traditional financial instruments.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Fiat onramp providers (businesses that convert local currency into crypto) can capture USDT (Tether, a U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin) demand in underserved peer-to-peer (P2P) markets
- Support spans 140+ fiat currencies 3. That splinters local demand to turn cash into USDT before any CFD trade.
- Payments and fintech firms can target heavy P2P corridors. Build compliant rails for bank transfers, mobile wallets, or card acquiring to speed up and lower the cost of fiat to USDT.
- Tokenized U.S. stock futures on Bitget crossed US$10 billion in cumulative volume this year 1. That appetite could lift demand for smoother USDT access in emerging markets.
