Bitcoin’s value exceeded US$100,000 on Monday, trading at US$102,250, reflecting a 4% increase, according to Coin Metrics.

The broader cryptocurrency market also showed gains, with the CoinDesk 20 index rising by 2.5%. Bitcoin, ether, and solana experienced their best trading weeks in over a month.

This increase in cryptocurrency prices coincided with gains in technology stocks, including chipmakers like Nvidia, as the Nasdaq climbed about 1.1%.

Crypto-related stocks, such as Coinbase and MicroStrategy, advanced by 6% and 11%, respectively.
