Bitcoin traded near US$64,000 in Asian morning hours on August 4, up 2% over 24 hours and 1% on the week after reclaiming the US$63,000 level it lost on August 3.
The token rose from about US$62,250 to just above US$64,100 overnight despite continued concern over Coldcard-related wallet losses.
Ether traded at about US$1,865, up marginally on the day but down 1% for the week.
XRP rose nearly 1% to US$1.08, while BNB climbed nearly 1.5% to about US$591, leading major tokens with an almost 5% weekly gain.
Solana traded near US$74, and Hyperliquid’s HYPE token added more than 4% to US$54.
The move came as a fourth sweep of addresses generated by affected Coldcard firmware took about 449 bitcoin from 709 addresses.
Galaxy Research, part of crypto-focused financial services firm Galaxy, did not confirm whether the same operator was responsible.
Broader risk sentiment was mixed, with MSCI’s Asia Pacific index down 0.7% and Nasdaq 100 futures up 0.4%.
