The global cryptocurrency market has surpassed a value of US$3 trillion.

Data aggregator CoinGecko reported that, as of Thursday, the market value hit nearly US$3.2 trillion, exceeding previous peaks seen in 2021.

Bitcoin has been pivotal in this rise, reaching a record US$93,480.

Since November 5, bitcoin’s value has doubled this year, now standing at US$90,000.

Ethereum enjoyed a 33% increase to US$3,220, while dogecoin, supported by Elon Musk, surged by 140%.
