Bitcoin hits 10-month low at $74,541

Bitcoin declined to a 10-month low in Asia trading on February 2, 2026, dropping as much as 2.5% to US$74,541, close to its lowest level since April 2025.

The cryptocurrency remained below US$76,000 midday in Singapore.

In January, Bitcoin lost nearly 11%, marking its fourth consecutive monthly decline—the longest since 2018.

Broader market unrest contributed to the downturn, with gold also falling after a significant drop last week.

Experts noted that if Bitcoin drops below the US$70,000 mark, it could impact long-term investor confidence.

Other cryptocurrencies, including ether and Solana, also declined, with ether down 2.9% and Solana falling 1.2%.
