Bezos-backed AI startup in talks for $300m at $2b: sources

General Intuition, a New York-based startup, is in talks to raise about US$300 million at a valuation of just over US$2 billion, according to sources.

The company develops models designed to help AI agents to navigate space and time.

The round would come about eight months after the company spun out of Medal, a platform for uploading and sharing video game clips. General Intuition previously raised US$134 million seed round. Its backers include Jeff Bezos, Eric Schmidt, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.

Led by Medal co-founder Pim de Witte, General Intuition trains embodied AI and world models on Medal’s gameplay dataset.
