Bessemer Venture leads $70m series C in US cybersecurity Doppel

Doppel has raised US$70 million in a series C funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, South Park Commons, and several new investors including George Kurtz, CEO of CrowdStrike.

Other new backers include NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Aurum Partners, and a group of athletes investing via the a16z Cultural Leadership Fund.

Doppel will use the funds to further develop its social engineering defense platform and expand go-to-market operations.

The round follows Doppel’s previous series B raise six months ago.

The company recently launched a Human Risk Management product, which features phishing simulation and AI-generated security training capabilities.

Doppel reports adoption among Fortune 500 companies across industries such as financial services, technology, and healthcare.
