Bertelsmann leads $24m round in Indian food delivery startup

Swish, an India-based 10-minute food delivery startup, said it raised US$24 million in a round led by Bertelsmann India Investments to expand its kitchen network and supply chain.

Existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, and Hara Global also joined the round.

Swish said its monthly orders have tripled since March 2026 to more than 1 million.

The startup operates in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad.

It said the new funds will help expand its kitchen network in current markets, enter new cities, and increase capacity.

Blinkit offers a Bistro app for food in minutes, while some industry observers have questioned the model’s viability.

Any new kitchens will also need to meet India’s food safety rules.
