Chinese tech giant Baidu has unveiled MuseSteamer, a new video generation model, alongside its Huixiang (绘想) creation platform.

A key feature of MuseSteamer is its collaborative creation capability, seamlessly blending visuals, sound effects, and human voiceovers to produce high-quality video content. Baidu stated that the model achieved a total score of 89.38% on the VBench I2V authoritative ranking, placing it first globally.

The model allows users to generate 10-second, 1080p cinematic quality videos from just a single image. The generated videos reportedly feature professional-grade micro-expressions for characters and camera movement effects.
