Baidu, the China-based internet search engine provider, has surpassed Q3 revenue predictions. It did so on the back of an increase in advertising income, which comes as China’s economy recovers.

The firm recorded revenue at over 34.4 billion yuan (US$4.72 billion), which was slightly above estimates.
