Baidu-backed AI biotech BioMap seeks Hong Kong IPO
BioMap Beijing Intelligent Technology Co is a Baidu Inc.-backed AI and life-sciences startup that has confidentially filed for a Hong Kong IPO that could raise a few hundred million dollars this year, according to people familiar with the matter.
The company developed an AI system that models biological mechanisms to aid drug discovery.
The filing comes as AI drug-discovery firms draw rising investor interest.
