AWS pushes AI agents to move beyond pilot stage

Amazon Web Services said on April 22 that it is stepping up its agentic AI push with multi-agent workflows.

The company said it is expanding partner ties, and supporting Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.7 on Amazon Bedrock to help customers move beyond generative AI pilots.

Customers are shifting from single AI tools to systems that connect multiple specialized agents, said Rahul Pathak, AWS vice president for data and AI go-to-market.

In South Korea, AWS is working with firms including LG CNS, Doosan Digital Innovation, and CJ OliveNetworks across manufacturing, retail, and finance.

Posco DX cut engineering drafting time by 90% and CJ OliveNetworks increased store sales by 5.7% using AWS-based AI systems.
