Avatar startup AvatarOS secures $7m to create lifelike personas
AvatarOS, a startup specializing in advanced 3D avatars, has raised US$7 million in a seed funding round led by M13’s Latif Peracha.
The investment also included contributions from the Andreessen Horowitz Games Fund, HF0, Valia Ventures, and Mento VC.
The company was founded by Isaac Bratzel in 2022, who has experience at firms such as IPsoft, Brud, and Dapper Labs.
AvatarOS is working to improve the realism and individuality of digital avatars. The focus is on lifelike movements and unique traits.
Currently in beta testing, the company is providing select users access to existing avatars. It plans to release an API for clients to incorporate avatars into their platforms.
