Autodesk links AI transparency cards to its assistant

Autodesk, a California-based design software company, said on October 5 it expanded its AI Transparency Cards and connected them to Autodesk Assistant, so users can ask in natural language how specific AI features use data and what safeguards and limits apply.

The cards launched in 2024. Autodesk said the update adds separate sections on data handling, customer choice and control, model providers, and safety measures.

The company said the changes were informed partly by research with Deloitte that showed users wanted more detail on training methods and safety measures.

Autodesk Assistant is available across multiple Autodesk products.

Autodesk said Autodesk Assistant’s answers identify the source card, letting users check the underlying information without separately accessing the Autodesk Trust Center.
