Australian travel tech firm secures $2m for SaaS solutions

Tour Amigo, an Australian travel tech company, earlier this month secured US$2 million in seed funding led by Singapore’s Wavemaker Partners, with participation from VC firm 500 Global.

The funds will be allocated to develop the company’s business, reservation, and operational software solutions tailored for multi-day tour operators and travel agencies, according to Wavemaker Partners’ statement dated 4 September.

The firm plans to launch Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions tailored for destination management companies, independent travelers, and group operators.

“The funding will accelerate expansion into the North American market and support Tour Amigo’s growing enterprise clientele,” said Murray Decker, CEO of Tour Amigo.
