Australian trading firm BDX Markets launches blockchain platform
BDX Markets, a Sydney-based trading infrastructure company, said it launched a blockchain-powered platform on September 21 for contracts for difference (CFD) markets in Asia and Europe.
The hybrid model keeps MetaTrader 5 and adds blockchain-based records to parts of trading activity and liquidity infrastructure.
The company said the system was meant to give traders more visibility into how orders were handled. Investor Andy Ting said the product came from years of seeing limited transparency in online trading infrastructure.
BDX Markets also introduced BDX Vault, which it described as a blockchain-connected liquidity participation ecosystem.
However, the public materials reviewed for this article did not explain how eligible participants could join or whether the product functioned as a liquidity pool, yield product, or tokenized scheme.
The materials reviewed for this article did not disclose the company’s founding date, leadership team, or funding details.
