Australian EV charging company nets $45m equity funding

Australian electric vehicle (EV) charging company Jet Charge has raised AU$72 million (around US$45 million) in equity funding, led by Mirova through its Mirova Energy Transition Fund 6.

Existing investors, including the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), RACV, and Kilara Capital, also contributed to the funding round.

The funding will support Jet Charge in expanding its EV charging infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in 2012, the company has deployed over 20,000 EV chargers across Australia and is now expanding into New Zealand.
