Australian ecommerce startup secures $800k pre-seed funding

Shopfront, a Melbourne-based startup, has raised US$800.000 in pre-seed funding to streamline ecommerce sales.

Investors include Antler, Co-Ventures, 5H Values Capital, and angel syndicates.

Founded in April 2024 by CEO Nate Spiteri and CTO Drew Flaherty, Shopfront uses AI to help sellers list products across multiple marketplaces, cutting listing time by up to 90%.

The funding will expand the team to four members and support software and marketing efforts.

Shopfront is testing its first paid pilot, refining the platform before its public launch in Q2 2025, with plans for rapid customer onboarding.
