Australia’s Treasurer, Jim Chalmers, has urged citizens to exercise caution with the Chinese artificial intelligence model DeepSeek.

At a news conference on Jan. 27, Chalmers stated that the government is closely monitoring developments related to such technologies.

DeepSeek was introduced earlier this week and has attracted significant international attention.
